third blog.
I think everyone in the world is swayed by what they see in their everyday lives. Peer pressure is all around and when people are constantly telling us to do the wrong, we can't help ourselves but to fall into the pressure of our peers. I think that the media lies about what really happens in the world everyday. That they only feed people news that they want them to know, not what they are "supposed" to know. The media has some truth, but they work around the truth; by telling stories that are brief and not much in detail. I think to overcome this, everyone needs to listen to their conscience and do what is right to them. Not listen to other people who want to do wrong and make others pay for their own mistakes. Everyone in the world has a mind of their own and everyone can speak for themselves and do not need others to speak for them. I think almost everyone in the world cares what other people have to say, whether they deny it or not. We all do, why hide it; maybe one day it'll make people realize words can truely impact on people negatively and positively.

On January 3, 2011 there was a bus attack that led to having 8 dead. Some witnesses said that the supposed suspect demanded the bus to pull over. But when the driver failed to listen, the gunman impailed the bus with non-stop gun-fire. Out of the eight that died, there was a child and two babies.
I think that the man who killed those innocent eight people should be senteced to the death penelty, if caught. On the other hand, I was not aware this happened. I don't think this event will effect me in anyway. I just think people should think about the outcome before they decide to go around killing people.

Kelsey's first blog entry
What do you hope to do this semester?
A) Academically I hope to get straight "A's" and move up higher with class rank. I'm hoping my GPA will be atleast a 3.75 or higher. Varsity soccer is another one of my goals this semester, I was on varsity my freshman year; though I'm hoping to stay on it.
What are you thoughts about blogging? Have you ever done this before? How do you think this could be a useful tool?
B) My thoughts about blogging are that it is very interesting and I want to continue to learn more about it. No, I have never blogged before, though i have heard about it from many people and seen people use it. I think its useful because you can learn more about people and you can go back and look and see how much you have improved as an individual.
Is there anything you want me to know as we progress through the semester?
C) I'm hoping to do my best in learning how to speak, spell and learn the spanish heritage. And get an excellent grade to help boost my GPA.
